9:15 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.: Presentation by Arts For Idaho president, Kara Hidalgo
10:00 – 10:45 a.m.: Round table discussion #1: Make your art community your ally
We are seeing that the greater the number of art organizations in a region, the greater the excitement is for the arts. We will discuss why working with and helping promote other art organizations will make your organization stronger.
11:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.: Round table discussion #2: How to find, approach & close a large donor.
Let's brainstorm ways to find private donors in this time of decreased grant funding.
12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m.: Round table discussion #3: Help form the message Arts For Idaho should advocate.
Idaho art organizations and artists need to educate the public of the benefits of the Arts so they can, in turn, influence our legislators to increase arts funding to the Idaho Commission on the Arts and in our public schools.
1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. : Speaker: Daniel & Kara Hidalgo will give resources to help your oganization network, promote and learn.
